Keeping your parcels safe

As we approach the Black Friday sales and the Christmas period, making sure your parcels are delivered and stored securely is important.

Unfortunately, over recent weeks, there has been an increase in the number of parcels being stolen from outside doors and in mail rooms in blocks of flats. Whilst we continue to investigate these offences, there are a number of ways in which you can help reduce the chances your items will be stolen:

Use a parcel locker – across Wapping there are a number of secure parcel lockers for companies such as Amazon, Evri and the Post Office;

If you are not going to be in, ask a trusted neighbour to take the parcel in for you;

Get ‘signed for’ delivery so the delivery driver must hand it to you directly and get a signature;

Choose a click and collect option and collect directly from the store

Don’t let people tailgate you into the block – if you don’t know the person, don’t let them follow you in.
